live from death row...

"in prison my whole life," (<---that is a link to the trailer,) is a documentary film by british filmmaker william francome. francome was born on december 9th, 1981, the same night mumia abu-jamal was arrested.

every year francome had a birthday, his mother would remind him it was another year behind bars on death row for mumia. consequently, as an adult francome decided to come to the usa to learn more about mumia's plight and the american justice system. the result is "in prison my whole life," which is not yet available through netflix but is screening currently at various film festivals in europe and may be streamed on http://www.firedoglake.com/ on monday at 5pm pst.

abu-jamal's 'a daily terror,' can be heard as the last track on my xmas 08 cd this year, (again, if you are one of this year's lucky recipients,) following indie artist jonathan richman's 'abu jamal.'
